The purpose of our charity is to tackle inequality through investing inpublic health, principally in communities producing coffee in Honduras, Costa Rica, and South and Central America. We have identified these communities to be at risk, and would benefit from vaccinations in a range of different disease preventions.
Our foundation seeks to fill the gaps left by government, and either picked up by individual families or the community itself. An example would be funding innoculations, such as the annual flu vaccine, in a remote agricultural community in Guatemala which produces for our cooperative.
But this is just the beginning. By collborating with growers on the ground in these communities, the Foundation strives to beneft all areas of community life, from education, to health, to the establishment of ongoing socio-economic self-sufficiency.
